Dean Christie works for Ngāi Tahu Property in Christchurch as a development team manager. His role is to identify commercial opportunities around Te Waipounamu and work these through to completion. Dean did his carpentry apprenticeship straight out of school, and then he joined the military for around 9 years. He has been working in property development for the last 15 years.
